Applications Support Developer
We are currently recruiting for an Application Support Developer to work as part of the IT support team providing 3rd line development level support and tactical software updates for a range of internally developed software solutions.
Problem solving, root causes analysis and resolution of software related issues for internal systems key to this role: Liaising directly with end users to research issues, resolve and provide work-around solutions;
- Minor system enhancements in pursuit of the above
- Testing software releases to company testing standards
- Release management and deployment of software fixes
- System documentation maintenance
- Adherence to the companies software release process
We are looking for someone with the following skills:

- Excellent team player with first-rate written and verbal communication skills and the ability to form good working relationships with people at all levels both internally and externally
- Needs to be responsive and accountable with a strong sense of personal ownership
- Flexible and able to work on multiple simultaneous initiatives
- Has an excellent grasp of technical/professional aspects of work and remains up to date
- Able to quickly learn and apply new skills
- Able to achieve both a high degree of productivity and quality in work
- At least 3 years experience within a development environment
- ASP.NET
Highly desirable to have the following expertise:

- .NET, HTML, XHTML & CSS, MVC, AJAX, JQuery, ExtJS.
- Experience with .NET version 2.0/3.5/4.0, Visual Studio
- SQL Server 2008/2005 Or Relational Database Design and SQL Syntax
- Knowledge and experience of structured software testing
- Windows SharePoint Services
- Experience/Understanding of Object Oriented solutions
